BELLS

Adam Robertson won the local trials for a wildcard spot in the Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach this week. Robbo is no stranger to the event having won the trials 6 times. In 2009 he surfed his way through to the main event and into the final where he finished runner up to Joel Parkinson. This year Robbo will match up with Way of the Ocean co-star Kelly Slater in the first round of competition. Here is what Kelly had to say about the match up. Best of luck to everyone, the forecast looks great!

ROADS LESS TRAVELED

There is a certain excitement felt when venturing down unknown roads for the first time.  In the forefront, there is always the anticipation of finding your own slice of paradise and reveling in your own quick witted decision to take the 2nd left after the 3rd dirt road leading straight to perfection. In reality, the ever persistent thought of failure lurks over the shoulders while you can only hope that today is the day. Well, this day was exactly that, The day.

DARK & STORMY

A small stormy day on the Northern Coast of NSW with Josh Kerr and Nick Vasicek. There were a few little ramps on offer and some pretty cool lighting. That’s one of the great things about Australia, the dramatic lighting that can pop up for just a brief window and turn an otherwise boring session into something pretty unique.
